KVS Admission Schedule for 2020-21

SCHEDULE FOR ADMISSION

सत्र 2020-21 मेंप्रवेश के लिए समय-सारणी लिम्नलिखित होगी:-

The Admission Schedule for the Session 2020-21 will be as under:-

2	Online Registration for Class-I	20/07/2020 (Monday) 10:00 AM onwards
3	Last date of Online Registration for Class-I.	07/08/2020 (Friday) till 7:00 PM (19 days)
4	(a) Declaration of provisional select and waitlist of registered candidates (b) Admission of eligible candidates of selected list in following order: (i) RTE (ii) From Service Priority Category (I and II) only (iii) Shortfall of Reservation Quota after admission in (i) and (ii) above	1 st list on 11/08/2020 (Tuesday) 2 nd list on 24/08/2020 (Monday) (if seats remain vacant) 3 rd list on 26/08/2020 (Wednesday) (if seats remain vacant)
5(i)	Declaration of provisional select list of candidates as per priority service category for unreserved seats, if any (keeping the left over reserved seats blocked).	127/08/2020 to 29/08/2020 (Thursday) (Saturday) (3 days)
5(ii)	Extended date for Second Notification for offline registrations for admissions to be made under RTE Provisions, SC/ST and OBC(NCL) if sufficient applications not received in online mode.	Notification on 31/08/2020 (Monday) Registration from 31/08/2020(Monday) to 05/09/2020 (Saturday) Display of list and Admissions 07/09/2020(Monday) to 11/09/2020 (Friday)
1	Registration for Class-II onwards (except Class XI)- Subject in offline mode to availability of vacancies in a particular class.	20/07/2020 to 25/07/2020 (Monday) (Saturday)
1	Declaration of list of class II onwards.	29/07/2020 at 4:00 PM (Wednesday)
1	Admission for class II onwards.	30/07/2020 to 07/08/2020 (Thursday) (Friday)
1	For KV students: Registration for admission in class XI.	Within a week of declaration of class X results
1	KV students: Display of admission list & admissions for Class-XI.	Within two weeks of declaration of class X results.
1	Non-KV students: Registration, display of admission list & admissions in class XI (Subject to availability of vacancies)	After the admissions of KV students in class X
1	Last date of admission for all classes including XI.	15/09/2020 (Tuesday) (tentative, depending on the declaration of class X result)

टप्पणी/Note:-
1. List of children registered, list of eligible children, category-wise list of provisionally selected children, waiting list and subsequent lists to be compulsorily displayed on the web-site of the Kendriya Vidyalayas concerned, in addition to display on School’s Notice Board.
2 If any of the dates happens to be a public holiday the next working day shall be treated as opening/closing date.
3. The studies of Class I will commence from 15 th Sept, 2020 either online or regular in vidyalaya depending upon improvement in situation due to COVID-19.
4. It is brought to your notice that presently around 198 Kendriya vidyalayas across country are being used as Isolation Centre or Quarantine Center by Central/State Government due to pandemic COVID-19. These KVs will be functional for regular classes only after lifting of lockdown and permission from respective authorities.

विनोद की माँ हस्मिती महेन्द्र की माँ राजलक्ष्मी के पास जाकर धरना देने लगी। दोनों एक ही गाँव की थीं, छुटपन में साथ खेली थीं। राजलक्ष्मी महेन्द्र के पीछे पड़ गई- 'बेटा महेन्द्र, इस गरीब की बिटिया का उध्दार करना पड़ेगा। सुना है, लड़की बड़ी सुन्दर है, फिर लिखी-पढ़ी भी है। उसकी रुचियाँ भी तुम लोगों जैसी हैं। महेन्द्र बोला- 'आजकल के तो सभी लड़के मुझ जैसे ही होते हैं।' राजलक्ष्मी- 'तुझसे शादी की बात करना ही मुश्किल है।' महेन्द्र- 'माँ, इसे छोड़कर दुनिया में क्या और कोई बात नहीं है।'

BOOK REVIEW

The Diary of ANNE FRANK

Anne Frank as you all may well know was a Jewish teenager in World War Two and wrote a diary about her time in hiding. Throughout it, it talks about what it was like to be a Jew in the war and to constantly be in fear while in hiding. It also talks about how she changed as a person while going through the two years of living there without going outside once.

At the beginning of her diary it talks about her family, friends and her everyday life and she seems quite unaware of the danger that could attack her and her family at any minute. Her openness and honesty immediately captivated me and made her relatable and likeable. While you're delving through her deepest thoughts you find yourself asking questions about who you really are and what you think about things.

Throughout the whole book there's always a bit of writing in almost every entry about after the war and what she would like to do. When you're put into her shoes I felt heart-broken by the fact she thought she was going to live and she had it all planned out but instead she was heartlessly slaughtered.

I conclude this book really left me wishing to know Anne Frank and I was aching with sadness for her fate when her diary ended on August the 1st. It brought a new perspective on the war and all that she wrote about and I dearly wish I could have helped her to live. I highly recommend it to anyone who is willing to look at the honest works of a glorious author and to whoever wishes to remember Anne Frank as if they were a dear friend.
